"I have been with State Farm for 50 years. I recently had a claim denied for a leak in my master bath shower. I would not have known about the leak if my HVAC provider had not been in my crawl space and noticed a stain on my liner. We had a shower pan leak not noticeable to us. My policy stated leaks in walls and under floors were covered. I was told that was the national policy there was an exception in North Carolina. State Farm is great collecting money but did not take care of my claim due to a technicality. I am extremely disappointed and looking at other insurance companies."

"My personal experience started off good untill I realized that the wrong VIN had been entered to start my policy. Once that was corrected it was not correctly entered from the initial start date. That led to me getting notified by NCDMV . I called the agent to get it corrected. That didn't happen. I was told it was but again the correct information was not entered. I was notified again by NCDMV telling my license plate had been revoked, which meant that I was at risk of being arrested and having my vehicle impounded if I were pulled over by law enforcement. And of course this happened on a Friday which meant I couldn't drive my vehicle over the weekend and no one could resolve my issue until Monday.I asked to get a call from a supervisor. The supervisor did eventually call. Being the customer and as enraged as I was and still am the manager, acted in a very unprofessional manner and raised his voice at me when I pointed out the many shortcomings and lack of attention that my issue got. On top of that I had to ask for an apology. While the staff was friendly I expected more from a tenured supervisor and that didn't happen. He did email me documentation of the proper forms being submitted, that didn't happen until a very heated exchange had already taken place. I feel like that should have been his leading action, instead it being a lost resort. The forces insincere apology that I received is forcing me to review other options. It also led me to tell my sister, who was asking about a new home and auto bundle to look elsewhere. I wouldn't want her or anyone else to have the experience that I have had this far"

"Chris at State Farm made what I expected to be a stressful process incredibly quick and easy. He helped my husband and me set up a new policy, and from start to finish, everything was handled efficiently and clearly. Chris was extremely responsive, took the time to explain our options in a way that actually made sense, and made sure we felt confident in the coverage we chose.

"This place. THIS PLACE! We were in a complete panic last autumn because our daughter was involved in a hit and run during a vacation trip to Hilton Head Island. We had never experienced anything like this, and had no idea how to even begin to navigate this ordeal period, let alone from a different state. Our previous agent had retired and we all had been distributed among different agents. Sadly the one we were assigned to didn’t help us, and when we would call they acted like we were bothering them. As if the incident wasn’t already bad enough. We’d learned the driver of the other car was more than likely under the influence of something per the witnesses, and while the ABP’s were put out to get the other driver responsible, we were trying navigate our daughters car that had to be towed there as well. Trying to talk to our agent was such an effort, it seemed for them to help us on what to do. I found Brad’s office by googling a State Farm agent close. We needed to switch and I needed a number to do it. We requested to be transferred to his office and they took our case. They took our case, and took over! What ended up taking almost 2 months to fix, would have not taken nearly as long if we’d had Henry from Brad’s office. He is the absolute best! If you need a dedicated, true in heart State Farm Agent, please look into Brad Riley in Huntersville, NC. Henry was our insurance angel throughout this nightmare we had. We cannot thank them enough!"
